Who We Are

The Visual Arts Association of Northwest Florida, Inc. (VAA) is a non-profit organization formed by those who love art to encourage, support, and promote activities dedicated to the enhancement of the visual arts.

The purposes for which the organization was formed are exclusively charitable and educational. An all-volunteer organization, it has no paid employees.

The VAA has been certified by the U.S Department of the Treasury as a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to the VAA are tax-deductible as provided by law.

What We Do

A major element of the VAA's mission is the granting of educational scholarships to deserving individuals pursuing careers in the visual arts. Since the first grant was awarded in 1999, art students have been recognized for their outstanding achievements with scholarships for postsecondary education totaling thousands of dollars.

The VAA was recently featured in the Pensacola News Journal for their  years of educational support and scholarships to local artists.
